The petals of this lovely rose are perfectly arranged to form very large blooms that are double and shaded a rich rose pink. An exquisite fragrance delights the nose, the relatively thorn free stems delight the gardener. Tall, vigorous and will bloom generously throughout the season. 1851. Marechal Davoust Expected Stock Height: 20/40 cm ? We will not have this plant 2025/26. aka Pink Moss Rose Moss. The stems and buds of this lovely rose are decorated with reddish green furry 'moss'. The buds open to large, rich pink, informal blooms that are very fragrant and quite frilly. Repeats well and is easy to grow. Prune lightly after flowering. From France 1852.

The blooms are fragrant and look pale pink at first but open to pure white with a green centre. Rounded and flat in shape with a multitude of petals. Tolerant of poor soils and a little shade, repeats well. From France - 1832.

Bourbon. A very beautiful old rose with cupped blooms of palest silvery pink touched with white, especially at the edges. The blooms are sweetly scented. Repeat displays throughout the season with a final flourish in the autumn. Relatively few thorns and long slightly lax canes. From France - 1878. Mme Pierre Oger Expected Stock Height: 20/40 cm ? aka AKA Parsons Pink China China. This important heritage rose has been cultivated in China for centuries and was introduced to Europe around 1750. It has been used extensively as a 'parent' breeding rose. Small semi-double blooms of pink that fade as they age. Nicely fragrant with light green foliage and few thorns.

The name Mutablis means 'changeable' which is what really describes the flower colour best. This rose is also described as the 'Butterfly Rose' as the single flowers float and dance above the foliage like a - you guessed it - a butterfly.
